Ann.without.an.e
Has anyone read or reviewed these yet? Any thoughts? Thanks
ByGrace3
I am super curious as well...which ages would this work for? Would it make a good spine or only supplemental reading? I have been drooling over my VP catalog! ;)
JudoMom
Here's a review I did in November. My ds10 read it and really loved it. I just asked him about it, and he said it was really good, the story was good, and he learned a lot of history.
abrightmom
We are reading it aloud now and my kids love it. I think it is a bit over my 7yo's head but she is a determined participant in our storytimes. The text is dense so it works better for us to take it a bit slower. My oldest would rather grab it and read independently. I think 8-12 is an ideal age range for this book but like all Bible stories and much of history there is value for all ages. =) VP really does rock!
