amo_mea_filiis.
Last night dd noticed her gerbil was missing. :( I had her cut up a paper towel tube, put a tiny bit of peanut butter in each piece and put one in each room. So far there's no evidence of it chewing on any of them. Today begins the mad search for him. Any ideas to help find him if he's still alive and in the house? :(
amo_mea_filiis.
The tube in ds's room was chewed late last night. We know he was alive 8-9 hours ago! I got 4 no kill mouse traps. 3 upstairs and one down. Hopefully we'll find him.
AlmiraGulch
We once "lost" a dwarf hamster in our house. We assumed he was dead. About 3 months later (no kidding) he showed up one morning. Just wandered into the kitchen. He was fat, too, so he was obviously eating something all that time! He'll likely show up.
BigMamaBird
Put his nesting box out with a little trail of sunflower seeds leading to it. He just might decide that his snug, familiar home is more enjoyable than adventure. Unless of course you have Stewart Little, then you're out of luck. amo_mea_filiis.
His name is Chaos. Quite fitting now. Lol. Hopefully he's still on the second floor. I'll set out some more stuff for him.
