Stayseeliz
I had half of one of my big toe nails removed yesterday and the dr said she wants me to keep it covered for a month or so when I'm out of the house. I'd just try a band aid and ear flip flops but band aids never seem to stay on toes very well. Any ideas for shoes that will still look cute with capris and shorts? Thanks! kewb
A ballet flat would be cute as would a slip on sneaker type flat.
*Lulu*
Toms look cute with capris.
LuvToRead
I've noticed sneakers seem to be pretty popular this year. Those would be cute with capris, or even a casual skirt.
Lawana
The cloth bandaids stay on really well. I wear one on my big toe to cover up the area of a removed toe nail when I dress up. I've never had one even slip.
J-rap
My daughter just got a pair of Keen sandals because she recently broke her toe and needed more protection. She is working on a beach in Italy for a couple months and needs something that can be worn on land and in the water both. However, I'm not sure how cute they'll look with a skirt... Ali in OR
Keens with a skirt is an acceptable look here in Oregon! If you live an outdoor kind of lifestyle--hiking, in and out of rivers-- they're great. But they're a little hard to get on--mine have no removable strap so I have to squish my foot in and pull them up. If you don't need a heavy-duty shoe, I would look at the Toms. PinkyandtheBrains.
Keen sandals, they have a couple closed toe options. My boys both have them, very durable too.
