workingmom
DS young 5th grader will be on SOTW 2 next year (he's done 4 and 1). But he has a terrible sense of geography???I ran across Mapping the World by Heart as a possible online class for him, however I'm wondering has anyone done alongside SOTW regardless of which volume? diplomum
I'm looking at it too. My current 6th and 7th graders have learned all the countries of the world and their capitals at their current international school (mostly using the Stack the Countries app on the iPad - great app, by the way!). Next year we'll be homeschooling and I want to keep the momentum going and this seemed like a good extension of what they have already done. Sorry I can't write a review for you! RootAnn
I'm planning on adding a once-per-week Mapping the World with ART by Ellen McHenry next year. We added looking up the places we were studying in SOTW on the big world map this year. That has helped dd#2's sense of geography.
