skirch
The Wednesdaynight kids activites in our church needs an overhaul. I have volunteered to help out when we resume in the fall so I'm researching programs and ideas. We have done Godly Play in the past, and we might implement it again but I'm looking for other ideas, especially for the 9-12 age group. What's happening at your church? AvasMom
We don't have Wednesday night anything except boys' choir practice. Sometimes we have an adult class series but that's it during the week.
LMV
Our church uses Godly Play as the core of our Sunday School Curriculum with the K-6 classes. Activities for ages 9-12 in our church: Acolyte Guild, Choir, Resurrection Ringers (Jr. Handbell Choir), KHK (Children Community Service) Our youth group starts at age twelve and is faith, heritage, and service focused but they also do a lot of fun activities (including their annual twister tournament which raises money for Habitat for Humanity).
