LucyStoner
Is there any legit way to watch Foyle's War Series 8 here in the states without waiting for PBS Masterpiece to air it this summer? Help a Michael Kitchen fan out...
LucyStoner
No Foyle's War fans on WTM? Color me surprized. ;)
CaitlinC
I love Foyle's War, but I'm still back in Season 5 so I can't help you unfortunately. Coincidentally, my dh just got it out of the library for me, and we are watching the first episode of set 5 tonight! Good luck in your quest. *Lulu*
No Foyle's War fans on WTM? Color me surprized. ;) Oh no, I love it! It is like many shows I love, however, in that I am only a far as Netflix carries.
LucyStoner
Netflix has through 7 I think- I watched the last season on it or Amazon (though they put 2 of the 2 episode series together so their 6=the actual 7.) I won't spoil anything but the last episode left me wanting to know what happens next. I am just going to have to wait it out as I can't find it anywhere legit. When it airs here, PBS will put it up on their website in case I am the only one who can't wait for Netflix. :) I really love this show. Alessandra
I love Foyle's War, but dc are more lukewarm about it, so I am only in season 2 or 3.
PinkyandtheBrains.
I watched Foyles War on Netflix. DH and I loved it.
Cindy in FL.
I like it, too, but don't know where to watch season 8. I've had luck before with Merlin and other shows just googling "watch Merlin online."

elfgivas
we're watching it on amazon prime and loving it. i like it so much i gave my mom season 1 on dvd for mother's day! i am as far as foyle about to board a boat. is that the end of season 6? no more on prime, so now i wait..... the authenticity is worth it all, but the story is so good, and i like the characters so well that i'd watch it in any event. looking forward to amazon prime adding season 7, and eventually 8.... smiling, ann
Guest chelsea
Unfortunately, they have since been pulled, but right after they aired someone downloaded them to YouTube so I was able to watch them. There are several ways that others had luck with around the country....I did not. The first one is Tunnelbear.com, which is free, and the other is Brittv which costs a few dollars. There are several torrent sites I have used without difficulty and you can find a lot of British tv programs on them, including Foyle's War 8. The two I have used are BitLord and Frostwire. The download takes a while, but worth it for something you want to see. If you haven't seen it already, check out YouTube Michael Kitchen FW8 Guitar video. It's the man showing us some of his not seen before talents. Also, for Foyle's War fans, check out the Acorn Foyle's War site totally devoted to the show and all it's characters. Lots of good pictures. http://www.foyleswar...-war-characters Huge Michael Kitchen fan. :001_tt1: Chelsea
dirty ethel rackham
Oh we love this show. We just discovered it a few months ago and are on Season 4. Our Netflix wasn't working last night and we were totally bummed. We are watching this while waiting for the new season of Sherlock!
Guest chelsea
You might try George Gently also. Martin Shaw is another favorite of mine.

Most of the series have 3-4 ~90 minute each episodes. Two of the series though had just two episodes and on Amazon and Netflix, they combined them. So when 8 airs, it will actually be 7 by the Amazon and Netflix numbering. 8 will air on PBS this summer for the first time in the states, so Amazon will get it no sooner than fall or possibly early 2014. I am going to rewatch the ones I haven't seen in years while I wait for the new episodes this summer. It just sucks for us Americans that the lag between when it aired in Britian and when it will air here is 4-5 months. Like Dontown Abbey but I don't like that as much as Foyle's war- haven't even bothered with most of season 3. :).

Donna A.
Huge Foyle fans here! And I didn't know a Season 8 was coming, so thank you! Very excited now. :001_tt1: We own the entire series through Season 6... or 5, whatever it is... everything except the last three episodes that came out in 2010. We've seen them, though, so I'm anxious to see what Foyle is doing next. Or who he's going after.... I hope it's who I'm thinking of. You know that one dude. Trying not to give any spoilers here..... :001_cool:
