happypamama
My big little guy (the 8yo) really likes math, and I am looking for some fun math-type puzzles for him. Maybe like Sudoku-type stuff but not specifically that. Not really sure what I'm looking for, just some fun stuff for him. Not for school/reinforcement, just for fun. Paper, preferably, rather than electronic, but I'm open to i-apps too. I might try him with some simple logic problems and see if he likes them, but I'd love other ideas as well. TraceyS/FL
Did you look at the scholastic sale? They have a variety of them on sale for $1, and the coupone MAY30 makes them 70 cents!! The 50 Fill in Problems are a math mad lib - which my kids have had fun with doing together. Not overly challenge - but for 70 cents - fun! http://teacherexpress.scholastic.com/dollar-days BUT, there are a ton of choices!
TraceyS/FL
And this search should be math logic puzzles, ebook, and then sorted by price. http://teacherexpress.scholastic.com/subject/math/logic-and-problem-solving?dir=asc&limit=64&order=price&product_type=
