workingmom
Has anyone done these AP workshops from the College Board? I'm seriously considering letting my young 8th grader take AP US History Exam end of the year and was thinking would this help me to prepare him for the exam. He'll be starting a college class in the fall and taking an online (non AP US History Course). Are any of the other AP workshops for educators helpful for homeschoool teachers prepping their individual kids for the exams? apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/Pageflows/InstitutesAndWorkshops/showEventList.do;jsessionid=7zv5RRhhL0HQ8JnJthnsRG0GFZW3hgJJM00xh1XqkQSRGkjvTG4d!-595634198

Maura in NY
As an alternative, you could join the AP Community discussion board for the course. I've been "granted" membership to several of these board, even though I haven't submitted a syllabus for audit, just by explaining that I am a homeschooling parent whose student is studying for the exam. In addition to ongoing discussion among current AP teachers, there are many resources listed by these "communities" - study materials, websites, etc. https://apcommunity.collegeboard.org/
