I have a bad tendency to think we are "behind" all year and then May comes and I realize we are way ahead. Oi. The kids have maybe two weeks of math left and only a couple lessons left for their LA. We take summers off, but quitting in June is way too early for us. Now I need to scramble to find things to fill up their time. Looking for lots of fun ideas! I don't want to move on to next years stuff. The kids worked hard this year to finish their subjects and I want to reward them. We are going to do some nature studies and some math games and I think we'll start typing programs...any other ideas? I am on homeschool burn out, so I can't think of these things on my own! :)

For Science if you did Mr. Q Life Science you could just listen to the textbook using the free audio version.

You could also goto Librivox and listen to a recording of The Burgess Animal book or the Burgess Bird book.

I have never watched it, but the tv show, "The Story of Science" might work well.

We just finished Mr. Q's Life Science. The kids enjoyed it :)

My kids liked it when we listened to it.

We sometimes go back and relisten to parts of the audio recording. For us it is also because it's my Dh who made the audio recording.

Thanks for sharing the recording! We've used it often!
