lgliser
Hi, I wondered what you all recommended for logic for first graders? Something maybe just kinda fun...? Thanks!
PentecostalMom
My 1st grader loves Lollipop Logic. Check them out at Prufrock Press. I know Amazon also carries them. She finished Book 1 pretty quickly but is taking her time with Book 2. They also have other logic/critical thinking/analogy books for this age group. *Michelle*
We just started Mind Benders software from The Critical Thinking Co. Homeschool Buyer's Co-op has a mother's day special until the 15th for some free items and one of those items is a $10 promo code for TCTC. The software download is only $9.99, so you could try it for free.

Punchie
We did all three Lollipop Logic books in K. They are fun, but we blew through them pretty quickly. This year, pretty much all of our logic has either been games (like Rush Hour or Mine Shift) or books from The Critical Thinking Company. Favorites from there have been - Mind Benders, Dr. DoorRiddles, Math Analogies Beginning, Spider Island (computer game), and Dr. Funster's Think A Minutes. aselei
We do Lollipop Logic too, but I think he would do the book in a couple of days if I had let him. He also loves logic games, as someone else previously mentioned. His favorites are Camelot Jr. and Prince and Dragon Go Getter.
lexi
For 1st grade we used Logic Safari from Prufrock as well as Mind Benders and Math Analogies from Critical Thinking Co. We used Lollipop Logic in K and loved those as well.
*Michelle*
Awesome - how do I do this? What is the promo code? thanks! Here's the deal: https://www.homescho...ts-vendor-hall/ If you're not already a member, it's free to sign up. The promo code is the last link listed. When you "buy" it, you'll get a code emailed to you. Just enter it at checkout on TCTC's website and you'll get your $10 off. ETA: Just saw you have triplets! The Mindbenders software is nice because you can set up a different shortcut on your desktop for each child. :)
