HappyGrace
Can you direct me to any online sources for this that are inexpensive yet reputable? Thanks! The locking piece broke off the lid assembly and it won't work if it can't lock! (It's 11 years old, but my mom's is still going strong and she's had it for over 25 years!) Chocolate Rose
I don't know if this is the best source, but I've purchased replacement parts for both my mom's older Cuisinart and my Robot Coupe food processors from Cuisine Parts, Inter. Their number is 800-852-3150. http://www.cuisineparts.com
KatieJ
I have used Culinary Parts 1-800-542-7549 Prepare to be shocked at the prices!
Spy Car
Prepare to be shocked at the prices! No kidding. I have an ancient Cuisinart and the motor is as strong as ever but the piece that pushes against the piece that locks the motor broke. It was almost as expensive to replace the parts as it would be to buy a new machine. So I stuck a little piece of cork in the assembly and that has worked fine now for some years. JumpedIntoTheDeepEndFirst
Bon Apetit and Cooking Light used to have ads in the back for lots of companies with replacement parts. Or maybe eBay or Amazon auctions?
lighthouseacademy
I have an ancient one too with a fabulous motor... but my bowl needs replacing (it has a crack in the bottom) and my blade is dull... but I haven't found anywhere to have a bowl or blade that is not as expensive for the duo as a new one.
