aggieamy
I purchased a huge bag of fresh green beans from the store and I'm at the point that I really need to use them. Normally I cook them with bacon and onions and it's deliciously unhealthy. I need some new ideas and this place is always great for that so help a gal out and share you best green bean recipe. Thanks!
itsheresomewhere
I saute mine with a little bit of bacon in olive oil and shallots. You can steam them and drizzle olive oil and lemon. What about a potato/green bean boil?
LibraryLover
If nothing appeals to you right now, blanch and freeze. Use them later. Green beans are wonderful as a veggie side, in soup, stew, and stir fry. They freeze well. :) I say this as a person who planted zillions of green beans in her garden. :)
Mergath
We eat them raw here. Like healthy green french fries. :D
MrsBasil
Roasted with olive oil, garlic, and a little lemon. This is also fantastic with asparagus, btw. I add parmesan cheese sometimes too...
