JennW in SoCal
Happy Mother's Day to you too, Nan! I was thinking about our little band of homeschool moms, about how much of ourselves we have poured into raising, educating, shaping, nurturing and growing our kids. What a gift to have had the time to spend with our kids and to now have a warm relationship with our young adult children. Here's to us! :cheers2: On a personal note -- I've got one home from college this weekend. We went to an author signing at a favorite bookstore yesterday and last night he asked if I had any old Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movies to watch -- he was disappointed they aren't on Netflix! So I pulled out my complete DVD collection and decided we should watch Top Hat! He loved it! The ways they can grow and change in college -- my oh my! Jane in NC
Toasting the moms on this board with my cup of tea! Jenn and I have sons at the same school, a nurturing place that has opened so many doors. Consequently he won't be with us for long so we'll enjoy The Boy while we have him. Happy Mother's Day!!
lisabees
Hoping everyone had a great mother's day! :) Jenn and Jane, we will be visiting Wooster on Friday with ds17. It would be a reach for him and this will be his first college visit, but we'll be in the area picking up my oldest from his college. Looking forward to another Wooster visit!
