Just made my first Angry bird cake...

Great cake! Would you mind sharing the recipe also? My dd is GF and it sounds yummy!



I used a mix (Bob's Red Mill chocoloate gluten free) and added 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (semi-sweet) to each layer. Cake pan was 10 in square and took 1.5 mixes for each layer.


Icing/filling was chocolate buttercream (powdered sugar, butter, cocoa powder, vanilla and milk) Fondant was homemade marshmallow fondant (marshmallows, vanilla, powdered sugar).


My friend's family (who I made cake for ) is gluten free. I don't bake gluten free enough to bake from scratch (since the best gluten free cakes require several different types of flours).
