tomandlorih
We are just finishing up the first half of the book. We have done it in conjunction with Rosetta Stone(online) for translation practice and grammar instruction which RS lacks. I give it 2 thumbs up for a basic Spanish course that's inexpensive. It seems to progress in very logical order and made perfect sense to my 9 year old without being dumbed down. An adult could definitely use it without feeling like it was aimed way beneath them. Explanations/lessons are short and clear and the translation is only 10 sentences per lesson and builds/reviews previous lessons as it goes along. Hope that helps! If you have any specific questions, I'd be happy to try and answer them. Lori PS We would not do RS again but we are continuing on with GSWS=D
Stuart
Thanks! I think we will give it a try.
Carrie12345
I love it. My 5th grader has done really well with it. My 4th grader isn't as solid on memorizing conjugations and would probably do better with more verbal practice and pen to paper, but she does okay. I try to make worksheets as we go along. Haiku
We use it and love it. It's an excellent intro, but unless a child has a fairly solid grasp of grammar, it will become difficult farther in. My dd11 is doing fabulously with it; ds10, not so much. Tara
