Question about FLL audio CD or other grammar songs cd

What all is included? I'm using FLL3 right now and will probably start FLL1 next year with youngers. Just wondered if the CD is worth it (although I don't even know where to find it at this point). Are there songs for the definitions of the parts of speech or...??? Are there other grammar song CDs that people have appreciated?

We are using FLL1. I do have the audio. For FLL1, the audio is not worth it. It's just the poems read aloud and a couple of stories for the few narrations FLL includes. They are all short and not even worth pulling out the CD for. Maybe once we are much farther along, I'll pull out the CD in car or whatever and let the kids listen to all the poems they have memorized.

For FLL2, which I have, but haven't even looked at, there are 12 different grammar songs for memorizing pronouns, state of being verbs, helping verbs and so on. So, I think I'll use it more when we get there. If nothing else, I'll need to hear it so I can sing it for the kids. LOL.

So, bottom line, you don't need it, especially for FLL1. But, for the price, (I think I paid $7 on Amazon) it is probably worth it for FLL2 for the grammar songs unless you have some of your own. :)

I bought the Shurley CD for the jingles even though we aren't using Shurley Grammar. We do Grammar with our Latin (LFC), and LFC uses Shurley's definitions, so we memorize the Shurley jingles during our Circle Time. It helps when we're working on the Latin and my son says, "But I don't *know* what kind of verb it is." And I start, "Verb? Verb? What is a verb?" and he can finish, "Haven't you heard there are two kinds of verbs: the linking verb and the action verb." or when he wants to use the nominative case for all his verbs, I can remind him with the Shurley chant of the different noun jobs (a concept not often covered well in English grammars because it doesn't really make any difference in English.)

Thank you! I think I'll look for the FLL 2 CD.....especially if I can get it for $7!

FLL1 and FF2 are on the same CD. Here you go....$8.19 plus shipping, which I never pay because I can always order at least $25 worth even if I just add something like vitamins or shampoo. LOL!
