mamabear2three
I am still waiting for my copy of SOTW1 to get here, but I know that I will want to add in more biblical history, and was hoping to be able to do that without having to also purchase MOH. Is there a resource available somewhere that would help me line up my bible historically? Or has anyone else done that and have any suggestions? DiannaC
Contact coralloyd with a private message. I asked this question a couple of months ago and she sent me an awesome resource she had made that includes biblical history with SOTW. I am using it next year. ByGrace3
You can read Egermeiers Bible story book alongside or use the VP history cards. If you go the story book route, I wouldn't worry about reading all of it, just pick and choose stories to highlight. There are resources online lining them up ... I have it all compiled with our lit choices here-- http://onemagnificentobsession.blogspot.com/2011/08/first-grade-history.html

Sue G in PA
Diana Waring's What in the World Is Going On Here? CDs are fabulous. :) A nice compliment to SOTW1 to add in the Biblical history component you are looking for.
