JFSinIL
I need old timey photos of farms in and around Concordia and Meredith, etc. for a photo book I am making for my mom, who has Alzheimer's and is forgetting her past. She grew up on her cousin's farm (Holbert farm in Meredith) and stayed with folks in Concordia, too after her dad was killed in a car accident in 1940 when she was six. I would love to get copies of any area photos from that time. The internets want to give me only modern farms. Sigh. Just though this was worth a shot. Word Nerd
I'm not from that part of Kansas, but if you haven't already discovered it, the Kansas Historical Society's Kansas Memory site is a good source of historical photos. I've found several old photos there from the area where I grew up, and they have documents and other memorabilia to search as well. Here's the Cloud County page: http://www.kansasmemory.org/category/3115
prairiewindmomma
Most of the photos I have are from Jamestown and Kackley...and mostly of photos taken in the last decade or two of abandoned homes. You might try contacting people through here, though: http://www.cloudgenealogy.com/
PrairieSong
My husband is from north of there. Cloud County Museum is in Concordia and they have a Facebook page with photos and their phone number. Maybe they could help you.
