I know it will slow down but I am happy with the fast weight loss so far. About 6 years ago I lost 50 pounds on low carb and no sugar but I have gained most of it back by gradually eating too many carbs and sugar. I apparently have an addiction to bread, I will just keep eating it so I have to cut it out completely.

For dinner last nightI had a plate of turkey and chedder cheese (no bread) and green beans. For breakfast I have been eating either fried eggs or omeletes. I have been having a whey protein drink for lunch and veggies, salmon, steelhead trout for dinner. I will also be having chicken for some dinners .

I also started using a Leslie Sansone walking tape.

Yay! Congrats! I restarted with my low carbs / no sugar on Tuesday as well. I decided not to weigh myself this time around, but I feel great! (And hoping that the reinforcement of slightly better fit of my jeans will kick in soon.)

congrats. at that rate, a lot was probably water - but sugar can absorb 4x's its weight in water, so cutting the sugar out will do wonders. I did it a number of years ago, just cutting out sugar. - it took about a month, but I felt fabulous, had tons of energy, and the weight melted off without even trying. I was in better shape than when I was in high school. I used plain rice cakes as an open face sandwich foundation.
