PuddleJumper1
When you need to potty train on a clocked schedule what time interval do you start with - 15mins, 30mins, an hour or something else? We're embarking on this journey with ds11. Due to his level of sensory issues it is unknown whether he'll ever know for himself when he needs to go. I have no idea if this can or will be successful but we're gonna give it a try :)
SKL
I have no experience with special needs, but I'd think the place to start would be how often your child eliminates. I had one who had to go every half hour or she'd pee herself. The other could wait for hours at the same age. I guess I'd go with whatever your son's body does minus, say, 10 minutes for starters? SailorMom
15 to 20 minutes tops. If you try and they don't actually go, 10 minutes.
