BlsdMama
So I understand that Rosetta Stone is insufficient for high school credit. And, if I understand correctly, the primary reason it is insufficient is because it lacks grammar. In other words, it is simply vocabulary memorization. Is Tell Me More any better? Is it truly sufficient for high school credit?
katilac
Tell Me More definitely has more grammar, but I personally don't think it's sufficient for high school credit or learning a language thoroughly. It's great for additional practice and variety, but best used alongside a more traditional program, imo. I think it might be possible to craft together a credit-worthy class from it, but it's not set up that way and they don't make it easy to do so. It's not very user-intuitive, imo; it's a pain to get to all the various stuff and make a study plan. Or, maybe I'm just impatient or slow, lol. Things I like about it: *it's 'open and go' for some quick practice *some variety in activities from whatever other program we are using *hearing more speakers So I understand that Rosetta Stone is insufficient for high school credit.
