Penguin
What has been your sequence / schedule for Greek 123? Do you think that a 7th grader who is very good at foreign language could use the high school course at a slow pace? DS (currently in 6th) expressed an interest in Greek this year. He went through the Greek Code Cracker and loved it. Then, he decided that he would rather continue with modern Greek rather than Biblical. So I got him the Level One package and we have had fun with that. But it is also frustrating in that there is not enough grammar or conversational dialogue. We end up merging the course with Teach Yourself Greek. I am leaning toward ordering the High School package for next year. Any thoughts? If it matters, Greek is not his only foreign language. Last but not least, the Geography of Greece and A History of Ancient Greece look interesting. Any experience with either?
lorisuewho
I really can't answer any of your questions, because I have only used their preschool program. However, I wanted to say that I called them a number of times and their customer service was excellent. The gentleman I spoke to was extremely helpful both about Greek and the products.
