briansmama
Hi All, Just wondering if any of you have the World Book subscription and if so, do you find it useful? I'm looking at the online format and wondering if it would be worth it: http://www.worldbookonline.com/wb/products?ed=all Thanks!
journey00
I recently purchased a gently used 2011 set. However, I am very interested about the online subscription. Listening!
momma2three
How much does a subscription cost? I was actually looking at it the other day, and it just said to contact a representative.
Hunter
Most libraries have a subscription you can log onto with your library card number. Did you check your local public school website? Often there will be a password listed there.
journey00
Ok, so I checked out what Hunter said in her post. I googled World book online & a link listed took me to an Elementary School Website. Their login name & password & link for the World Book Encyclopedia online was listed front & center of their website. I clicked on the link & it took me to the WBEO website & it worked! For free! Here's the link to the school: http://www.fuesd.k12.ca.us/Page/1502 I did find info that the annual family subscription to WBEO is $50. Mona
Ditto what Hunter said. I just found out recently that even my small town public library had a subscription to WBO and I can just put in my library card number to have access. :)
briansmama
I discovered the same thing today, thanks to a previous thread here. Someone mentioned checking your local library so I did and they have a subscription! I'm so excited about this- we've already started using it today. I really like the online version too- it's easy to navigate and there's lots of great info.
