LillianinAL
My oldest ds is doing Forster's Algebra 2 book this year and we plan to continue on with it for Trig next year. Where should we get to at the end of this school year to finish Algebra? Thank you.
EKS
You would stop at the end of chapter 12. These are the trig chapters: Chapter 13: Trigonometric and Circular Functions Chapter 14: Properties of Trigonometric and Circular Functions Chapter 15: Triangle Problems Paul Foerster said (somewhere, I don't remember where I heard this) that for a more thorough treatment of trig, he recommends skipping the trig portion of his Algebra II book and doing the trig in his precalculus book instead (along with the rest of the book). Kendall
That's what I have done with (so far) two children. We did all but the trig chapters and then moved to Forester PreCalc book and did all of it. The two books together took 2 years.
