Esse Quam Videri Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Just wondering if anyone has a list of the order you cover MM blue topics in. I'm sure I could make one up but just thought I'd ask. Thanks in advance! Quote
edeemarie Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 I follow this schedule http://www.mathmammoth.com/study_order.php. When it comes to the books that are multi grade level (like time, money, measurements, etc.) I refer to the Table of Contents in the graded light blue series to see what should be covered in which grade. Esse Quam Videri Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 Thanks Erin! I didn't realize the website had those posted. Quote
edeemarie Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 No problem at all:) We have been very happy using the MM blue series! Quote
Esse Quam Videri Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 We are liking it too! I'd used a few MM topics here and there with DD, and when we got to SM4A she flew right though it because it was mostly things she's already covered. I'm considering doing more of our math this way (introducing with MM and then reinforcing with SM). Quote
classicmommy Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 I would love to know is there an advantage to doing the blue or the light blue MM series? Quote

I've heard there is, but personally I don't have any experience with the light blue series. If you start a new thread you'll likely get a response. Quote
ocelotmom Posted April 20, 2013 Posted April 20, 2013 I would love to know is there an advantage to doing the blue or the light blue MM series? Light blue - open-and-go. You know exactly what you need for each grade without any messing around and trying to align things Blue - Cheaper, more easily customizable, good if you want to address specific topics and not others. Doesn't have grade levels attached so you can use something intended for a younger (or older) grade without it being obvious. Quote
