I've had the radio on all night. They are broadcasting a local Boston TV station's coverage.

I feel like this is a bizarre dream because I sleep and then wake up and listen a bit.

I should just turn the radio off and try to sleep another 2 hours.

I hope you have gotten some sleep. Sometimes you have to turn off the radio and the TV and try to return to some sense of normalcy. Pray for our country, pray for those who have lost loved ones, and pray for peace in your family.

Thank you. Good advice! ((( hugs)))

http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013/04/19/17817173-one-boston-marathon-suspect-killed-second-suspect-his-brother-on-loose-after-firefight?lite

The suspects are Chechen brothers with the last name Tsarnaev, law enforcement officials told NBC News. The suspect at large, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, is 19, was born in Kyrgyzstan and has a Massachusetts driver’s license, they said. The dead suspect was identified as Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, born in Russia.

Law enforcement officials told NBC News that the brothers entered the United States in 2002 or 2003, and that Tamerlan Tsarnaev became a legal permanent resident in 2007.

So they were 8 and 15 when they came here. Where are their parents?

There is a facebook account, started in 2010, in the name of the surviving suspect's name (Dzhokhar Tsarnaev). The other two, I think, are fakes put up today. No info on what may be the surviving suspect, though -- except he does mention the marathon bombing and he last posted 15 minutes ago.

I am glad the suspect is dead. I know why. So does anyone if they want to read the terrorist screeds on the internet- they hate us and want us to die. We are the Great Satan and we are responsible for the corruption of Moslems who aren't engaged in the battle against the West. And if anyone thinks that I am labeling all Moslems here, I am not. I am well aware that most of the Islamist terrorism has been directed against other Moslems. I am not against all Moslems but I am against all Islamist terrorists and their supporters.

I want them to take him alive because there is a very good possibility that he and his brother did not act alone. I want them to get him so they can interrogate him and find out if more of these attacks are planned for elsewhere. Vengeance is the Lord's.

1248 GMT: The Boston Globe reports that police are calling into the house through loudspeakers. NBC reports that a person, specifically not a suspect, is in custody in the apartment where the brothers lived in Cambridge.

They're saying now that two other people (in addition to the guy on the run) are in custody. Not arrested. They either live in the same apartment as the suspects or in an adjacent apartment. I get the impression they're just being held for questioning now.

This doesn't really jibe with people who have gone through the trouble of being naturalized citizens, does it?

Did they say those are foreigners? I didn't see any report like that. Though the 2 guys do look like middle eastern

They are Chechnyan but have been in the US with their family a long time.

The younger one still out there was reportedly an excellent student, great wrestler, won a scholarship, and fellow students never would have suspected his involvement in something like this at all. THey interviewed a former high school classmate on ABC and she was truly shocked. He was known as being bright, funny, a good athlete.

I don't know much about the older but apparently the parents worried about his influence on the younger.

they know who they are. they're Chechen brothers and have lived here for 10 years. news outlets have spoken with family members - cbs-boston with their uncle who lives in MD. (who stated they deserved to die. He hasn't spoken to them in three years). their parents moved back to Russia.

You are only speculating though. If they had been Christian would you have assumed they were Christian extremists who were attempting to kill and scare people in the name of religion? Or do Christians never do that sort of thing?

The chechen acts of terror in russia (like the beslan school massacre) were definitely acts of islamist extremism and political separatism. Chechnya is mostly muslim and has become more extremist since 9/11.
