ACT/SAT writing tests - is cursive required?

My dc always prints when writing quickly. Will that be allowed on the ACT or SAT writing tests?

Printing is allowed. Now, there's all kinds of interesting questions about whether the graders are influenced by cursive vs. printing or pencil vs. pen.

My DD prints. It was not an issue, she did well on both essays (10/12).

The only problem may be that printing can be slower; she needs to be able to write quickly enough to fill the available pages.

I have read the comments about students who write cursive scoring better, but this seems to be tied to the number of words written than the actual script.

Of course, you are right, it is at the beginning of every exam. Can't remember, but was reading this somewhere about the psychology of grading essay exams. Perhaps college papers.
