busymama7
:willy_nilly: :willy_nilly: :willy_nilly: YUCK!!!! I am so freaked out. We are living in a temporary rental while looking for a house to buy. The landlords said they sprayed for bugs and maybe they did. I left dinner out on the stove after eating while dealing with a cranky baby and no big kids were home to help. One pan of enchiladas across one set of burners and a pan of rice on another. When I came back to put the rice away a cockroach :willy_nilly: :willy_nilly: was crawling around in it. :tongue_smilie: :tongue_smilie: :tongue_smilie: I am obviously throwing said rice away. But now I am freaking out that maybe the cockroach crawled around the pan of enchiladas first :ack2: Should I throw those away too???? I've never used so many emotions in one post. ETA: I had to remove some emotions as it wouldn't post.
maddykate
I would probably reheat it for a little while and go ahead and eat it. It would be too difficult to throw an entire meal away.

Does it change your opinion that is was just about 1/4 of the pan? Just the leftovers.
Truscifi
No. I would not eat it. I would probably throw it away, pan and all. But I tend toward overreaction when roaches are involved. :ack2:
Snow
Does it change your opinion that is was just about 1/4 of the pan? Just the leftovers. Yes. If its just a 1/4 left, I would just toss it.
maddykate
Yes, in that case, I would just toss it. I thought it was the whole meal, and I am too cheap to let that go to waste :)
busymama7
So my husband, who hadnt eaten yet came home and neither of us could stomach the thought of him eating it so out it goes. I am only bummed as it was really really good and I wanted it for lunch. Oh well, I tripled it and took one to a friend who just had a baby and put the other in the freezer(right after making it and before stupid cockroach showed up :ack2: )so I can have the yumminess another time :001_smile:
