TGHEALTHYMOM
Right here in the Classifieds. I got Story of The World Revised set at a convention in March. The booth is great, and the family home schools too. They are working on their website now. It is www.homeworksforbooks.com I ordered a Norton English book for High School on Barnes and Noble site today. Amazon.com has some great books but you do have to pay shipping unless you buy new for $25 orders and get free shipping. Rainbow Resource has a Clearance section too and now free shipping for orders over $50 It depends on what you are looking for and how fast you need it. Some books are much cheaper as PDF files if you can get cheap ink.. and want to print out the books in sections or small books as needed. Scholastic has $1 deals I usually find out about on here too for some nice pdf books. Home School Buyer's Co -op is Free to join and they get group discounts on popular curriculum, including online classes and subscriptions. I did buy the Brave Writer as a pdf for half price and that sale is still going on until the end of this month. Always ask questions if you don't see enough information when buying used. Be careful on here and good luck! Hope this helps!

KinderSafari
Don't be afraid to ask if people are willing to take less! Especially if you take a few of their items. I know when I sell, the more items people are willing to buy from me, the more I'm willing to lower the price! Saves me time and effort packaging things individually! I love to shop at the homeschool convention used curriculum sales too. We don't have one close to where I live, but I'm able to get to one every few years. You need to be "the first" one there, bring lots of small bills, and make quick decisions to get the best bargains. Also towards the end of the day, there will be more and more free stuff as vendors decide they don't want to bring stuff home, so I keep checking back in the free pile. The online sites (here and the FB site) have varying prices and the best deals are snatched up quickly. But if I was going to buy it new anyway (and I also recommend Rainbow Resource), then it's still a good deal to save even a few $$.
