Impish
You know you're a parent when: You and your dh are out for lunch to celebrate your 10th wedding anniversary. He attempts to be romantic, and feed you a spoonful of dessert...but makes plane noises while doing so.

Impish
Our anniversary was actually on Wed the 3rd, but we decided to wait til today to go out. We'd planned on dinner, but the last time we attempted Date Night, I ended up in the hospital for a wk and having my galbladder removed, so decided not to tempt fate and go for lunch instead, LOL
SKL
Yesterday I was on the phone with a banker and I noticed my self repeatedly saying "pain in the boot." I explained that I have six-year-olds and didn't want them to get in the habit of saying "pain in the butt" or worse. LOL. ... Happy anniversary! Mabeline
Ha! That's sweet. I opened a banana for a friend of mine before I handed it to her. She couldn't stop giggling. Lol
laf919
I once was making waffles for breakfast when my MIL was visiting and I remember telling her "I am so used to buttering the waffles as they are finished that I did these as well - you can add more if you like!" It happens....

Joker
Lol! For me, it was when you find yourself singing the, "I love you, you love me..." song from Barney when you hear a baby cry while grocery shopping......alone.

I.Dup.
LOL! As a joke, or he actually didn't realize what he was doing? I have offered to cut up a friend's meat before (before I realized what I was doing!) and said "look at the cows! What sound do cows make?" when there weren't any kids in the car. Mabeline
You start looking around frantically for your child, and she's at her grandparents :) I did that at the park one time. I had taken my younger ds to the park while old ds was at youth group. I was listening to my iPod and planning some lessons. I realized I hadn't looked up in a while so I started looking for my boys. I spotted my younger ds and I couldn't find my older ds. I started panicking and I finally stand up and ask my ds where his brother was, and he looks at me funny and reminds me his brother was at youth group. Oh, yeah.
