Other. I like gymnastics, figure skating, and almost anything in the Olympics. I only went to sporting events, like football and basketball, during high school and college to socialize. I could couldn't care less about watching the actual game.

I know what you mean about the general opinion, though. I've had curling tickets for two Olympic games (SLC and Van), and everybody thought I was nuts. They didn't believe that I truly wanted to watch people push a rock down some ice and wouldn't accept my argument that it's actually really compelling. That, and the tickets cost about a tenth of those for figure skating and skiing.

I mostly watch college (and high school) basketball and football. I like watching gymnastics, swimming, and other sports I don't usually get to see on the Olympics.

Honestly, I just like watching sports in general. When I was in high school, I lived two blocks from the school. Every sporting event that took place at my school (for the most part) I was at. It was very exciting to be able to go to all those sporting events.

Wrestling is the only sport I enjoy watching though I will sit through football when my ds15 is playing. I don't like any professional sports.

Ice Hockey. My favorite is watching my boys play, followed closely by watching my favorite team. :) I'm also a football fan, but it's not as 'family friendly' to take the kids to the games, so we don't watch that often.

:thumbup1: We got hooked on curling with the last Olympics. Prior to that we had no idea what curling even was. There's just something about it that makes it fun. Must be the sweeping. It's so intense. :laugh: The only other sport we watch is the FIFA World Cup. We're not big sports fans here. But we are looking forward to the next time these two will be on.

Of the sports you listed, I like to watch baseball, basketball, and hockey. I don't care for professional basketball at all, but I love college. I do like professional baseball (go Cardinals!), and hockey, though.
