Jean in Newcastle
Happy Tuesday everyone! OK - I hope that today goes much better and that I don't have to move to New Zealand. Clean kitchen Laundry Continue to disinfect stuff in the bathroom that I had trouble with yesterday. School Specials: Ds15 - still need to sit down and go through everything. Dd11 - medieval art She wants more hands on stuff. How do I find more time and energy to do this with her? Work more on the hydrangeas? (I have a whole mess of them all along the curb. Beautiful but a lot of work.) Swim lesson Zumba Tae kwando

extendedforecast
The New Zealand comment went right over my head. I'm going to join you, kicking and screaming. My neighbor has a maid service on Tuesdays, which makes me feel like I should be cleaning too (or having my own cleaning service). So... Kitchen Finish loading the dishwasher and run, then empty Wipe down counters Laundry Start load already in washer, see it through the end Fold clothes in laundry basket and put away Breakfast room Put away all Easter stuff Spend 15 min cleaning That's all for now. Ameena
Another day of cleaning & laundry here. So far I've gotten 3 loads of laundry done, and I'm waiting on a phone call.
Jean in Newcastle
The New Zealand comment went right over my head. Yesterday I had a bad day. I didn't want to move to Australia (like Alexander in the terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day) but had almost decided on New Zealand instead. Susan in TN
I hear NZ is nice this time of year. How's your back, Jean? Accomplished today - music lessons with kids (and didn't lose patience even once!), lunch, dd to band/flute ensemble/lesson, ds to History/English tutorial, grocery shopping. Yet to do: register ds for SAT, register dd for acting seminar, pick up ds from class and dd from band, library, get freezer containers for turkey broth, dd to modern dance class, finish laundry Lunch - tuna with crackers, saurkraut, applesauce Dinner - pasta, salad, mixed veggies

Good job on now losing patience with the music lessons! I have disinfected most of the bathroom. I have to do some more but that requires bending so I might put that off. We sort of managed morning school - not perfectly since we had the unexpected chiropractor appointment - but we did something. Fortunately I hurt my back at the very tail end of cleaning the kitchen. I've almost figured out dinner. I'm going to do math with dd and then will head to the store to pick up a few ingredients and get that done before heading off to swim lessons. I think I"ll sit in the hot tub while dd swims.
Mom in High Heels
I'm assuming the toilet issue is fixed since you're disinfecting? Today was..blah. I'm still adjusting to this stupid time change (we just changed), and I'm so tired and out of whack! Done: Exercised (though I did NOT want to and didn't put my all into it) Bfast School "Chased" Han Solo around the living room for a while (hey, that's exercise, right?) Swept LR and DR Swept Kitchen 1 load of laundry-washed, dried and folded, but not put away Lunch School Played with HS while Indy had his piano lesson Read about 15 (short) books to HS because he LOVES them Emergency power nap (I almost fell asleep on the LR floor) Read Wrote Booked a hotel in Luxembourg for Indy's Boy Scout crossover (I do NOT camp) Dinner Gave HS a bath, though there was no dancing tonight (I know). Instead we sang Sweet Caroline (his favorite song) over and over and laughed a lot Stared at the cookies in pantry Mentally berated myself for even buying said cookies Loaded the dishwasher Talked to James Bond-YAY! Watched Castle-YAY! and ate cookies (sigh) Took the dog out Yelled at the helicopters doing night training over our housing area (we live on an army airfield) And now I'm off to bed. If I can sleep through al the helicopter noise. Urgh.
Jean in Newcastle
Yes, dh finally got the toilet unplugged last night. Castle! I love Castle. Ds15 got to watch a bit last night since he was up later than usual and was roaring with laughter. He really liked it.
