Museums on Main Street

Just passing this along. The Smithsonian has travel exhibits they take/send to small town and rural museums in conjunction with state's humanities councils.

 

They have various exhibitis out right now, including ones on food in America, American music, Fences(?), and a couple of others. It looks like they have open exhibits in several states right now including North Dakota, Georgia, Kansas, Illinois, Minnesote, Vermont, Maine, New Hampshire, and others.

 

Coming in 2014 is a baseball exhibit. :)
