kept sneaking peeks at my feet. I feel so dirty.

Seriously, I wanted to hide them. Lol

When I read the title of your thread I was recalling the one about "You can't unsee".

SO relieved!

That reminds me of the time I got a random call asking if I would answer some questions for a survey. He said he was a grad student and doing a survey for one of his classes on consumer habits. After about 20 questions ( age, occupation, etc) that seemed fairly standard he jumped to start asking me about my feet???? Then if he could touch them......I hung up the phone right then and there as his tone had done a 180° turn. Before that he had been going through the questions in a fairly business like manner with an occasional joke here and there. I was blindsided by the turn in questions!!!!

When I was in college we would get calls from the "Shoe Guy". It was a small women's college so any number dialed with the college's exchange would likely get a student. Anyway, he would start off with survey type questions about how many pairs of shoes you owned, how many were dress, casual,or athletic. Then he would ask if your feet had ever been the object of affection and the creep factor would escalate. :ack2:

Maybe he was shy and didn't know where to look? I never know where to rest my eyes sometimes. Sometimes I find I'm staring at parts of someone's anatomy -- not because I'm actively looking, but just because that person is right in front of me.

Oftentimes, too, I'll look at people and be thinking of something else. If I'm staring at someone's feet, it might be that I'm thinking about how much the shape of their foot reminds me of someone else's. It's really nothing personal at all.

That reminds me of one time I met my friend's boyfriend for the first time. I casually mentioned something to her about a lipstick I wore and he went from looking half asleep, to perking up and suddenly very interested. Started asking all kinds of questions about where I bought my makeup and how I use it (I hardly ever wear any), then he wanted to know lots of details about the clothes I wore, where I bought them, how I selected them. I thought it was really weird for a guy to be so interested in these things but I let it slide. Well a few months later she confessed to me that he was a crossdresser!

And adding insult to injury, he was prettier and better-accessorized that she was, too, wasn't he? ;)

I do that, too. But this guy was in front of me.
