Lady Florida.
Yes, I can google, and yes I did and have a few ideas. However, I wanted to ask real people, some of whom I "know" if they have any suggestions. Dh's cousin from Arkansas provided us with yummy pecans. We've mostly just eaten them as is, but I thought I'd try to incorporate them in a dish of some sort. Except it can't be pecan pie. I hate sweet, gooey stuff like pecan pie*. *Dh and ds would love it, but I don't want to miss out on them.
thescrappyhomeschooler
Have you tried justamouse's muffins? They are SOOOOO good! My grandma used to make delicious pecan tarts, but they are kind of like mini pecan pies, so no good, I guess.

xixstar
On salads, make spiced pecans (spicy with a little sweet), make homemade larabars (yum), brownies and sunadae. :) Only other ways I use them is pie and in cranberry relish (kinda like a jello salad). But mostly, I just eat them as snacks, they're my favorite plain.

LucyStoner
Toast or candy them and use them for salads. Oh so good. Also, if you like cheesecake or pumpkin pie at all, they make a great crust. Or make a spicy pecan soup!
Onceuponatime
they are good in chicken salad, cole slaw, cookies, shortbread, cakes, quick breads. We had a bumper crop this year. After eating them in all those things we are resorting to eating them as is most of the time.
