Bootsie
In a recent blog, a college professor discusses what her students didn't know. Interestingly, in the last paragraphs she claims that homeschooled students are light years ahead. http://joeforamerica.com/2013/03/what-does-the-next-generation-know-about-rand-pauls-filibuster/
gaillardia
I received a phone call for some reason recently regarding the filibuster, which I had heard a little, very little, about when it was happening. I wish more people were paying attention to the things that are truly more important than things like...I won't say. I'm thinking it might be a good time for a kilt story! Melissa in Australia
I read the article. I am guessing it is very specific to America. I really didn't have any clue what half of it was taking about.
In The Great White North
I read the article. I am guessing it is very specific to America. I really didn't have any clue what half of it was taking about. Totally specific to America. For the short version, google the Bill of Rights and watch Mr Smith Goes to Washington. Ipsey
I read the article. I am guessing it is very specific to America. I really didn't have any clue what half of it was taking about. The connection to homeschooling was specious and, while I think the reason for Rand's filibuster was important, the article was just oh-nos-America! hysteria.
