hands-on-mama
I'm about to order the rest of what we need for AAR. Do you prefer the basic or deluxe interactive kit? I think I really want their box but thought I would ask what others think! Is the bag nice? If so, we could use it at the library.
kdownie
I am using AAR and AAS currently. I've only used the basic kit and never really felt like I was missing anything. I have many reusable "grocery" bags that we use for the library, and I am using 2 boxes from Target (width of index card boxes but much longer, so easily hold all the AAR cards) that were just $3.99. If you have the extra cash, sure, why not. For me, though, I've never missed them. Hope that helps!
PentecostalMom
The bag is really heavy duty canvas and I am seriously considering buying it myself. I had one with AAR (I bought it and ended up selling it). The box you can buy separate from Sonlight, or from the publisher. I see many people using different boxes to make do, but I am one of those weirdos that want the box that was made to accomodate the materials. Arboreal TJ
I bought the basic kit and added the boxes later. Boxes are worth the cost IMHO, as long as shipping is free. I ordered from Rainbow Resource, FYi
hands-on-mama
I'm ordering from RR as well. I'm just so OCD about stuff like this!
HeatherDanae
We bought the deluxe and love it. The bag is really well made and I love the boxes to organize my cards. Everything seems to be of high quality and will last through all my kids. It was worth buying the deluxe for us!!
