Punchie
Does anyone know of any resources that use nursery rhymes as the basis for learning?

Um_2_4
You could try "what your Preschooler needs to know" with the activity books. I just got them to use with my twins and the whole 1st section (about 1/2 the book) is nursery rhymes and common songs.

Um_2_4
There's a workbook that goes with it?? Yes, here: http://www.amazon.com/What-Your-Preschooler-Needs-Know/dp/1933486228/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1364575290&sr=8-1&keywords=what+your+preschooler+needs+to+know+activity+book+1+for+ages+3-4 So cute, but not reusable...you do need 1 per kid (has lots of stickers and cut outs for certain pages)

Ecclecticmum
I actually have one....somewhere....possibly. You Rock! I totally forgot I had this, lol. It will help me for this year. The one I have is Teaching Math & Science through Nursery Rhymes But there is also Teaching Art & Music through Nursery Rhymes , and Teaching Language Arts through Nursery Rhymes So I have the Math & Science one, i remember peeking at it, and it looked quite good. I ended up with the IRL book somehow, probably from one of my charity store sprees lol.
Clear Creek
Hubbard's Cupboard Bible and Rhyme is free and very complete...if you don't want the Bible portion, there is still plenty without it. Each week's theme is based on a Bible story and a nursery rhyme, and she links to more crafts and ideas for each week than you will have time for, lol!
