Ottakee
My 17dd (special needs) took this picture last night of Rosie her bearded dragon. She got her 6 months ago for her birthday and she was only a few inches long. Rosie gets played with all the time.

Jann in TX
It is nice to know another family that interacts with their bearded dragons in a simialr fashion! Beardies are GREAT!
sparrow
Aww! That is cute! I'll have to show my dh. He's on the fence about getting another one. We had a very sweet bearded dragon before kids. Unfortunately, a friend threw a firefly in his habitat. He gobbled it up like a cricket and died within 48 hours. :(. So, just in case you didn't know, no fireflies for beardies. They are poisonous to them!
Ottakee
Here is Rosie the first day she got her. Rosie was her 17th birthday present and has been played with more than I ever expected.
lailasmum
This is our bearded dragon off on a rampage.
Ottakee
The one on the rampage is so cute. I would have never thought (but should have planned on it) that I would have a dragon at the dinner table with us most nights. Despite (or maybe because of) her special needs, 17dd has a way with animals. She can catch flies with her bare hands, highly spirited horses calm right down for her (no we don't let her ride/handle them alone) even this dragon responds well to her. hillfarm
This does not look safe to me. Does that dragon have a driver's license? Does he know the local traffic rules? That blond bimbo with him doesn't look like she would be much help. I' not too sure about this... :tongue_smilie: .

Belacqua
It's about time Barbie ditched that simp Ken and found a companion worthy of her.
Hoot
How awesome! I have a 7 yr. old beardie that I've had since he was a hatchling. He gets super spoiled, too. It's great to see other keepers who love and interact with their reptiles.
Elinor Everywhere
Bearded dragons are the only reptile I've ever wanted. I had a friend who walked theirs on a leash. It also sat and watched TV with them. When I'm at a place in life where I don't travel so much, I want one. I love all the pictures you all have posted!
