momto10blessings Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Now that baby is here we need to start planning the baptism. We will be feeding about 45-60 people. It'll be around 3pm, so we probably don't need to do a whole meal. Relatives will be coming from 3 hours away though, so we do need to provide something substantial. We will not have a kitchen available. Thanks! Quote
Lara in Colo Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 crock pot availability? If not--- I would do a prepared sandwich tray or a 12 foot long sandwich from a sub shop. Quote
applethyme Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 It would be pretty easy to do either ham and scalloped potatoes or sandwich trays. With it being easter time hams and turkeys are on sale. Quote
StephanieZ Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Ham, rolls to make little ham sandwiches, potato salad, pasta salad, green salad, cake, veggie tray, whatever other things church friends bring. :) Congrats! Quote

ktgrok Posted March 27, 2013 Posted March 27, 2013 Do you have a sweet tomatoes by you? I'd look into having them cater it. They do a FANTASTIC job. Otherwise, given the time frame, maybe chips/dip, crackers and cheese and such, muffins, cookies, and cake. With punch and iced tea. That would be the least expensive and none of it would require refrigeration. Quote
