Farmgirl70
Any recommendations for a Fairy Tale Study for High School students--either curriculum or just a collection of books and how you used them? My son is interested and I remember seeing something about this long ago...It could be full year or just a unit study. Anyone have anything interesting? Carolyn in Ohio
My daughter took a college course on fairy tales(as part of a junior scholars program) two summers ago. She absolutely loved it. The books they used were Classic Fairy Tales and The Great Fairy Tale Tradition, both Norton Critical Editions. hth Carolyn

Belacqua
Bettelheim's Uses of Enchantment is a classic (though showing its age a little).
