Blue Hen
Seems like just yesterday I was here all worried about how oldest DS would do as a college freshman. Well, I could not have written a better script for what has happened with him at college over the last 3 years. After freshman year he landed an internship, paying one no less, with a college prof. He continued to work for her all soph year and even listened to us mid-year when we advised him not to quit when he wanted to. After soph year he was named a summer scholar, wrote his first of 2 research papers that summer, still working for the same prof. Now as a junior he just accepted a summer internship with Oak Ridge National Labs. I'm happy for him and he's quite pleased too. The prof he's been working for since that first summer helped set it all up too.

MBM
Nice. My husband had to go to Oak Ridge Nat'l Labs a day after I met him but only for a two-week meeting. I bet your son will find it very interesting. Congrats to him!
