Mom in High Heels Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 That is cool! I want to find a dinosaur and have it named after me. Quote
Catwoman Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 I feel like such a loser. I'll be 50 this year and I still haven't found a single dinosaur. Not. Even. One. Heck, I get all excited when I find a quarter on the sidewalk. I am pathetic. Quote
gaillardia Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 My sister still swears our brother found one in northern Virginia, ALIVE. It was very, very, very tiny. She saw it, and still swears it today, yep, that was a real live dinosaur. 1960's So, do they pay little girls and boys for discovering new dinosaurs? Quote
Laura Corin Posted March 19, 2013 Author Posted March 19, 2013 So, do they pay little girls and boys for discovering new dinosaurs? This one was donated to the Natural History Museum so presumably she could have sold it instead. I don't know the property rules on this - I don't know to whom the site belongs. Laura Quote
sparrow Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 So cool! I'm glad they incorporated her name, but I wish they would have named it the "Daisymorrissaurus" ;) Quote
