lynn Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 There were 3 vendors who had the most beautiful AG clothes. Dd chose an Easter dress and a summer dress for her doll with matching bows all for just a few dollars more than 1 outfit from AG store. I now know where I will be getting other outfits. One vendor said she loved to sew and took a crash course on AG dolls to find out all about them. She was a mother of boys. lol. She even took time to make matching bows. DD loved the experience, it was like a boutique for dolls. Quote
lea_lpz Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 That is awesome! I want to make doll clothes but never carve out the time :( Quote
dangermom Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Oh yes! I learned to sew beautiful clothes for my girls' AG dolls. I thought seriously about opening an etsy shop but decided I didn't have time. (I don't.) Mostly I do it for my friends' girls sometimes. I can sew a dress that is better than what you can buy, for less money. Though I'm not good at knits since I don't have a serger. Quote
vonfirmath Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Ag is PRICY! I have bought clothes on ebay that was gorgeous (And better quality than some I've seen in the stors) Quote
