Books that help you plan out your life, career goals, etc.?

I remember in the 80's, the book that was popular was "What Color Is Your Parachute." Are there newer/better ones? I have children that could use something like that.

I can ask my good friend if you want--she does career/life planning on the side. She uses a spiritual gifts inventory, the Myer's-Briggs, and some other interests and skill scales and tests to help people determine their "direction" in life.

Thanks for the offer! Well -- if you happen to talk to her sometime -- sure! I had forgotten about the Myer's-Briggs. I should look into that. I could probably do a search on the internet too, but thought I'd start with all the great minds here. :) I like how your friend uses a spiritual gifts inventory.
