Do the older workbooks match up with the newer edition texts? We have a 3rd edition workbook, but I can't find a 3rd edition book. I can find the 6 and 7th editions though. If I use a newer edition, will the 3rd edition wb be okay, or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new edition wb?

I use a 3rd edition of the workbook with a 5th edition of the text, & I've never had any problems or noticed a mismatch.

 

My text actually has an older copyright (1995 text vs 2000 workbook). I'm not sure that you're supposed to match them up directly. There's a note in the preface to the 3rd ed. workbook that says it was updated to accommodate the 6th edition of the text, so if you have a choice, go with that.
