Friederike in Persia Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Hi, so far we've used SWB's grown up history books as a spine for cycling through world history again. But sadly she hasn't written the last 2 yet. Would My Father's world work? The dds are 14 and 12 and used to reading lots of history. Could you maybe link me to a discussion/description of My Father's World? Where would you buy it, Rainbow Resources don't seem to have it. Thanks for the help, Friederike Quote
mommaduck Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 I bought mine directly from the company. Mfwbooks.com. Quote
Mommy22alyns Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Check out their message boards: http://board.mfwbooks.com/ I buy directly from them. Quote
SilverMoon Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 If your DC have been through SWB's adult books MFW's grades 4-8 sets would be a step down. The Explorations-1850 year relies heavily on SOTW. You can see our experience in post 17 of this thread. Something like Human Odyssey may be a better fit. It's made by K12, but you can find them used on Amazon. Quote
