Guest Steph111
We are a military family and have decided to homeschool our three little ones. They are five, three are 4months. We are moving to Flordia and will be there for three or four years. I am just looking for some advice. How are the laws in FL? How do you keep the little ones busy while doing school work? Are there any programs that you highly recommend? Thanks so much for the help!
IrishMum
Just saying welcome! I don't have any advice as I don't know the laws in the States, but the guys here are super helpful. It was the first place I looked for advice when I decided to homeschool 4 years ago. BTW, lucky you in Florida, we were there 2 years ago for a holidays, and it was fantastic! SFM
I, too, have nothing to add just a big welcome. We are also a military family and homeschool our 3 children. I hope you find the boards helpful. Welcome. :seeya:

happyhomemaker
Fortunately K can be done in an hour or two if need be, which is helpful if there are other little ones. Does your 4 month old take good naps? If so, I would try to get the bulk of school done during nap time. With the 3 year old, special toys that are only for school time can be good. My 2 1/2 dd loves to write or color in workbooks so she can feel included. Instituting room time for the 3 yr old can be helpful too. Play dough or any crafts that she can sit and do for a while will keep her attention. HTH! Welcome to the board!
