eaglei
I can't find the one and only social group I was part of! I've looked under the directory on the social groups link, but it isn't there - I went through several pages that had groups starting as far back as '08. The one I'm searching for is fairly new. HELP! What am I doing wrong? Why-oh-why do things have to change when I finally get them figured out??? :confused1:
BrookValley.
I'm glad the social groups are up and running, but yeah, I'm a bit confused myself (I can't find a search feature to search for groups?). I think, in your case, the group may be set to "hidden" instead of "public." Do you know who the group owner is? Maybe they could send you a link. Matryoshka
Yeah, the only ones that show up are ones I'd joined before the board switch, "new" groups that were mostly started just before the switch (not the ones that were started as social group threads here - they are not to be found), and "popular" groups that have 100+ members. And if you try to search "All Groups" they show up all higgeldy-piggeldy in some kind of random order. How does one go about finding a group??? I'd also love to see it if the thread-based social groups started here could be merged with the older groups, if the topic were the same. It would avoid duplication and confusion. BigMamaBird
I contacted a Mod about one of the thread social groups that I've been participating in to see if they are going to start a sticky group for them too. I hope they do, I was really enjoying the discussions going on there.

I've been looking for one and can't find it, but it didn't exist prior to the switch.
