momsuz123
Hi all, me again. So, my little bug is making some nice progress in speech. The SLP is finding some "holes" that need to be filled. We are starting to finally see some improvement in my dd ability to "hear" a blend, therefore someday, read a blend. One thing that we are noticing is even though she tested okay on her auditory memory, it seems like this is somewhat of an issue. Any thoughts on what we I can do to improve this? One thing to note is that my dd is a very kinesthetic learner, and unfortunately when working with this SLP, it tends to be more at a table/chair. Don't know if that is effecting anything. Thanks. geodob
Something that could be helpful, is for her to learn to sing some songs? As we become far more aware of the blends and how to vary them, when singing a song?
